We’re finally at the end of another year. In my personal opinion, 2009 went by in a rush, and I honestly don’t remember any dull moment as Evanna Lynch fans here on the web.
From stunning photoshoots to amazing interviews, Evanna was busy year round.
As Harry Potter fans, we had the wonderful treat of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and got the year wrapped up with that amazing teaser trailer of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

This has been a decade of Harry Potter, and for that I’m eternally thankful to JK Rowling for creating the world of Hogwarts, and giving us unforgettable characters like Albus Dumbeldore, Severus Snape, Remus Lupin, Luna Lovegood, Nymphadora Tonks and countless others.
Moving on, LunaFans.net in itself has achieved what I never could imagine when I first started it in 2007: Luna Fans has just turned three years old!
It has been one helluva of a journey, and I’ve been most fortunate to have met people who are as ardent fans as I am, both online and offline.
Through Luna Fans, I got the chance of talking to Evanna Lynch herself, which has to be the pinnacle of all other achievements. She’s an amazingly humble person, and I wish her all the best of luck for her future endeavours.
Wrapping this up, I only have one thing to say to all of LF’s reader:

The third issue of our Evanna Lynch magazine – EvyZine – is now online! Been in the works for a week, this short, yet slightly varied and complex issue focuses on fans! You can view the magazine online here, and in the gallery to save here.
The issue includes a new section – Wizard Rock Corner – which of course, talks of various Wrock Bands out there. This time, we feature The Luna Lovegood Band.
Along with this, there are fan features and articles in wide ranging topics. As said, this is a short issue for fans to pass their time as we await the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and is fan-centric with many featurettes.

The reason for this upgrade is that now everything is laid out for all readers and visitors, whether you’re a first timer or have been with Luna Fans through out our two and a half years existance.
The navigation is on top with every section of the website right in front of you, the featured “Headlines Today” takes you to the most prominent news you might have missed or looking for again.
This provides more flexibility to not only us as the administrators, but better for you.
True, this is not expected of a fansite, but I’d suggest that once you look around a bit you’ll grow more familiar with the functioning.
For example, to the right side, we also have a perfectly working search place where all your queries will most definitely be answered, just below that, you can go to the most sought after articles, along with the news archive and whatever else you might be looking for.
One teensy note – you will have to view full articles in order to have working links and images.

IndieLondon have a new interview with Rhys Ifans where they talk to im about his latest movie The Boat That Rocked. Ifans also talks of his other projects, Nanny McPhee 2 with Emma Thompson, who played Sybill Trelawney in the Harry Potter movies and also, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Q. Who do you play in Harry Potter? And is this something quite new for you, to be doing family orientated movies?
Rhys Ifans: I play a wizard. The last few Harry Potter films, I think they’re really cool. I was never a real fan of Harry Potter, but I love how they’ve become darker, and I love how Daniel Radcliffe and his co-stars have grown up through the telling of the story. Harry Potter is a little bit of history; it will be. So it’s been kind of a real honour being asked to be part of a project like that, and though I haven’t got kids myself, a lot of my friends have kids, so it’ll be great to do something they can see. He’s a good wizard – a really great guy. In Nanny McPhee, I’m a bad guy, someone you’d boo and hiss at.
