As we all know, the principal photography of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – both parts – has now been concluded.

Even though we cannot know what all will be included in the anticipated finale of the series, we can certainly hope.

MSNBC ran an article talking about what fans are most willing to see in the movies – including extra scenes that aren’t in the novel, originally.

Apart from Bill and Fleur’s wedding, Umbridge and Molly Weasley’s infamous moment of glory also mentioned are Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom and Professor McGonagall.

The tertiary characters have always been a strength of Rowling’s books, even if they get shorter shrift in the movies. But one would hope that with two movies to work with, Yates can find time for Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, and Professor McGonagall to have their moments in the sun. Rowling crafted climactic moments for all three: Neville actually destroys the final horcrux, slaying Voldemort’s deadly pet snake. McGonagall has a hellacious duel with Severus Snape that shocks even Harry. And while Luna doesn’t get a singular action moment, it’s tough to imagine the series could end without Evanna Lynch getting to take a bow as Hogwarts’ singular space cadet.

Like we’ve said several times – Evanna Lynch has been having one of the busiest years of her life probably all this past year.

Here’s a report proving that. Evanna Lynch has won the Mary Barrett Portfolio Award at her school.

Evanna Lynch has occassionally mentioned how much she loves art and dancing and would like to be a professional dancer.

We all have, also, seen specimens of Evanna’s art in the form of the radish earrings she made for Luna in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and this drawing for Luna’s home in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!

HARRY POTTER actress Evanna Lynch has added another honour to her already long list of achievements.

The Irish teen star, who plays Luna Lovegood in the hugely popular films, faces her Leaving Cert this week. But even before the crunch exams, she has worked some magic to win a top prize for her artistic skills at her Drogheda school.

The Mary Barrett Portfolio Award prize is given each year to the sixth year student who performs best in art and suggests that if the star ever tires of her fledgling acting career she won’t be stuck for work.

“She’s very interested in art, but she’s also interested in dance actually,” explained Donal Lynch, deputy principal of Our Lady’s College in Drogheda.

“I suppose she’s so busy at the moment she’s not really thinking of what she’ll do in the future.”

Evanna (18) has already designed the quirky radish-shaped earrings worn by her character Luna Lovegood and also her hare-shaped bracelet and lion-head hat.

The Meath girl’s priorities have been split between study and filming for the final instalment of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows.

Evanna’s deputy principal told the Herald that the young actress has had a difficult year.

“She was filming up until last week which makes it very difficult when she’s facing a couple of Leaving Cert papers. She hasn’t had the time to put in the work that she’d like to.”

Despite the hectic schedule, Mr Lynch said she has shown great dedication, particularly to art.

“She wore the earrings to the open audition and when she went on for the screen test one of the directors immediately admired them and thought of using them in the film, which they did.

“I think they produced a pack of jewellery based on what she has made. They actually consulted her a bit about the design for Luna’s house as well,” he said.

But despite her fame, Evanna doesn’t like to be treated as a celebrity by the other students.

According to the deputy principal, “She’s just another student like everybody else. If anybody tried to act anyway other than that she’d be annoyed — she likes to keep it quiet and low key.”

In a new interview Rhys Ifans, who plays Luna Lovegood’s father Xenophilius in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, talks about the movie and Evanna Lynch:

“She’s amazing,” he said. “If there’s a question on set — and they have a plethora of researchers and people who’ve read the books — but if anyone needs to know ANY miniscule detail about anything that has happened in any Harry Potter novel from start to finish, they ask her. She knows it all. So it was quite intimidating. I was working with this expert in Harry Potter. But she was a joy to work with. All of them, all of the kids or whatever you call them, it was just a great couple of weeks.”

As Harry Potter fans must have known, rumors of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows being released in 3D along with 2D had been doing the rounds for quite some time now.

Inspired by the success of the superhit James Cameron movie ‘Avatar’, Warner Bros have officially declared that the last two movies in the Harry Potter franchise will be releasing in 3D!

“We’re excited about 3D and look forward to bringing a rich, involving visual experience to audiences around the world,” Warners film group president Jeff Robinov said.

So, Evanna Lynch fans, get set for this ultimate movie experince!

Also, as I updated the sidebar information on the movies, the first of the two Deathly Hallows movie is now in the pos-production stages, and the second one is being currently filmed.

As Harry Potter fans must have known, HP Alliance’s Help Haiti Heal initiative brought together the Harry Potter cast to help with the recovering of the earthquake-hit region of Haiti.

The telethon for HHH finished with a whopping amount $34,000.

Matthew Lewis and Evanna Lynch went on live podcast and talked about the donations.

Evanna mentioned that she might be donating some autographed Potter merchandise, and probably design a phoenix mecklace.

Along with Matt and Evanna,their veteran co-star Tom Felton is also actively involved in HHH.

This has been a decade of Harry Potter, and for that I’m eternally thankful to JK Rowling for creating the world of Hogwarts, and giving us unforgettable characters like Albus Dumbeldore, Severus Snape, Remus Lupin, Luna Lovegood, Nymphadora Tonks and countless others.

Moving on, LunaFans.net in itself has achieved what I never could imagine when I first started it in 2007: Luna Fans has just turned three years old!

It has been one helluva of a journey, and I’ve been most fortunate to have met people who are as ardent fans as I am, both online and offline.

Through Luna Fans, I got the chance of talking to Evanna Lynch herself, which has to be the pinnacle of all other achievements. She’s an amazingly humble person, and I wish her all the best of luck for her future endeavours.

Wrapping this up, I only have one thing to say to all of LF’s reader:

All of you must remember the beautiful photoshoot Evanna Lynch did for the Irish designer Ciaran Sweeney, right?

You might also remember this article where a young designer, Jimena Rilova talks about participating in the Ciaran Sweeney Collection where Evanna Lynch modelled.

The translation of the article pretty much was atrocious, to say the least.

The supplement of Life, from the Irish news “Irish Independent”, illustrates one of their articles with a design of Jimena Rilova for Ciaran Sweeney. Modelling it is Evanna Lynch.

The young designer, Jimena Rilova, a regular participant of past editions of The Fashion Catwalk of León and Castilla like an emerging creator has recently jumped to the public light with one of her ideas. She has made it out of our frontiers this time, specifically in Ireland (place where she had been working from three months ago with the signature Ciaran Sweeney), of a hand of a velvet dress modeled by the actress Evanna Lynch (who plays Luna in the Harry Potter saga). Thanks to an article published last 28th of November in the dominical supplement Life of the Irish Independent news (one of the most bought nationally), Rilova has showed her work in the exclusive Irish signature, famous for it’s colourful creations elaborated with hand painted velvet, and her clients as internationally like Madonna, Elton John or Kylie Minogue.
To realize the design of the dress she got inspired in the tones that the actress often uses (greens and blues) and, having in mind her thin figure, she created a garment of a romantic aspect, rich in volumes and with original brocades. In all of the creating process, that was prolonged in four intense work days, Rilova enhanced the dye of the fabric because of the “passion that supposes witnessing how it starts taking color and shape, first on the patron and then on the model”.
After the first try with Evanna, very emotive for Rilova because of “how satisfied the model was with the result”, then proceeded to the definitive sewing, that hasn’t stop getting praises in the display of the boutique that has the signature in Dublín. There is only one problem and is that, how the designer agrees “is too expensive for any wallet”, because the price of it to the public is of 895 euros.
“Each garment of Ciaran Sweeney is like a work of art, because its made between two people in total craftwork procedure” tells Rilova, method that she also uses for her signature of her line of house and it’s complements.

Regarding The Fashion Catwalk of León and Castilla, she confesses, proud, that “it opened me a lot of door and allowed, for the first time, how a catwalk develops, enjoying my garments on professional models”.

Evanna Lynch, like we told you, was at the HMV store in London earlier today to promote the Blu-Ray release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by signing copies of the movie sets for fans.

Along with Evanna, veteran HP co-stars Matthew Lewis, Tom Felton and Jessie Cave also attended the signing.

Last night – well technically just a little over six hours ago – RTE 1’s The Late Late Toy Show was presented by Ryan Tubridy – who’s had his share of interviews with Evanna on the radio – as his first ever festive guide to the best Christmas toys for kids and adults alike.

Guests included Evanna Lynch, and the audience was given HBP merchandise.
