Following the reminder we posted a while back, Evanna Lynch and Matthew Lewis launched black Death Eater balloons from the Millennium Bridge (the same one that was treated rather unkindly by the Death Eaters in the movie) in England.

As Harry Potter fans worldwide must have heard by now of the news that Warner Bros. will be conducting a balloon launch of 1,000 balloons on September 24, 2009 – that is TODAY! – to herald the launch of pre-orders for the Blu-ray and DVD release of Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince, we bring you an even cooler news:

The launch will be done from the Millennium Bridge in London by Harry Potter stars Evanna Lynch and Matthew Lewis.

We’ll keep an eye out for more updates regarding this as the day progresses in London today! Check back later for updates, if any.

A new trailer for the Ultimate Collector’s Harry Potter DVD sets has been released which includes the very first screen tests for Evanna Lynch, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Jessie Cave (with Rupert), short interviews from the Deathly Hallows sets with the trio, and new behind-the-scenes footage from all eight Harry Potter films. Seeing how the promotion for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is finally over, and after filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Evanna Lynch is back at her home it was time to update the Biography page!

Not to mention, I’ve finally given the Quotes Archive a much needed re-vamp, and updated it with loads of new/old quotes from Evanna Lynch or, about her by the cast and crew and such! The Quotes Archive will most definitely be updated daily, so keep a tab on that!

Guess what we have today? Our very first (in close up) look at a section of the entrance to Luna Lovegood’s frenetic printing room at home in the village of Ottery St. Catchpole – decorated in true Luna style!

………… ‘around her door were numerous paintings of varied creatures, some of which it seems only Luna herself bears witness to. In the attic above was one of her many printers, which she uses to make the copies of her work for all her readers to mull over’

This is going to be followed by another report and details from the sets of Bill and Fleur’s wedding, and we  do know Team Lovegood is a highlight of the event – apart from the bride and groom, ofcourse!

Today’s the day you’ve all been waiting for! *drumroll* Evanna Lynch, being the wonderful person she is, took time to first go through the entire birthday project and sent us this message for her fans:

‘Thank you so so much for my online birthday scrapbook! I was so surprised and thrilled to receive such a fun, different and thoughtful gift. It really warmed my heart. It is so nice to read your messages because you have all been struck by the character of Luna, as I have. I think she is a very unique, wise and colourful person, but I think also that not everyone gets her or her view of the world and so I felt so happy to get so many kind messages from you who do understand her! The support of fellow Harry Potter fans is important to me because it reminds me how many fantastic people Luna influences and drives me to keep pushing myself and keep being 100% true to her.
I was particularly delighted to see that Luna fans is now endorsing a pet charity. I fully support this and am so inspired by the people who strive to give a voice to those innocent animals who are abused and ignored because they have none with which they may speak for themselves.

Thanks again for your wonderful gift which I will treasure. And Happy Birthday to those of you who mentioned it was your birthdays too! Love and light! xxxxxxx’
