The Sunday World ran a feature on the stars of Harry Potter, and spoke to Evanna Lynch where the young starlet speaks out her mind on fans, rumours surrounding her career, Harry Potter and her life. The scans can be viewed and read here.

“She may still be soft-spoken as she always was, but over the last 24 months, she has become an articulate and confident young woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to speak her mind.”

“The weirdest thing I read about myself was that I had won another movie role. Iwas due to play Britney Spears in a film of her life. I don’t know what stage I was due to play but the first I heard of it was when my sister read it somewhere. It’s not rue by the way although I’m a big fan so I wouldn’t mind doing it.”

“Some fans are completely over the top. They worship me and yet they have never met me. I think that is wrong. I’m not ready to be this role model some people want me to be.”

What does this mean? That some fans need to get a grip on themselves and stop being – as she says – over the top. We all love her for bringing Luna Lovegood to life, a character almost all Harry Potter fans love, but that should not mean obsession. She’s after all, a fan first and foremost like us.
